The gameplay isn't too complicated: just pay attention to the numbers that appear in the cells. These indicate how much pollution there is around you. You should tap them in order until you solve each puzzle.

In addition, you'll face certain moments where red boxes appear and then an unlock message pops up. In these cases you've got to create a combo to get rid of all the pollution and leave each planet safe and sound.
